Range of movement with anterior rotations are 3-5 degrees per tooth per aligner.
Rotations may be at the center point of a tooth or from the mesial or distal of a tooth to affect change along the entire width of the tooth.
Rotations are affected by the amount and location of IPR done, both on individual teeth and the total arch. Typically teeth must have enamel removed before they respond to rotational changes introduced into the aligners.
