Plus cases require moderate movement and/or anterior movement beyond our Select aligner package. If requested and upon receipt of your case, Specialty will contact you to discuss the degree of difficulty of the intended corrections. Plus aligner patients often require minor arch-form changes based on expansion and/or IPR. In many cases exhibiting moderate crowding, we can expand the anterior segments up to 2 mm with labial tooth movement. We can also increase the overall arch length to correct anterior crowding by performing IPR from first bicuspid to first bicuspid.
I have been using Clear Image Aligners since 2017, and I cannot imagine practicing without them. They allow me to detail the teeth more precisely than with wires, and the patients win by getting their braces off a few months earlier.
